flyjoy bars - review and giveaway.

when i got the chance to review FLYJOY bars, i was happy to have the chance to try a new product, but had incredibly low expectations. if i'm being honest, i didn't expect to love these bars. if i'm being reeeeaaaallllly honest, i didn't expect to like these bars. i'm just not a protein bar kinda gal. give me a hard-boiled egg or a peanut butter cookie any day over a protein bar. they're just...so...proteiny, you know?i literally could not have been more wrong.these things are so.fahreaking.good. they taste like cookies. i can read every ingredient in them, AND could go to the grocery store and buy every ingredient myself if i wanted. for example, in the cranberry almond bar i had today, these were the ingredients: almond butter, organic brown rice syrup, turbinado sugar, dried cranberries, organic quinoa crisps, gluten-free rolled oats, almonds, flax meal, chia seeds. that's it. that's everything in the bar. are you kidding me?

a little background on FLYJOY bars. they are passionate about health, fitness and adventure. the bars are well-rounded nutrition bars indended to give you long-lasting energy for whatever the day has in store. additionally, they're committed to making the world a better place. a portion of the proceeds of each bar goes to HOPE International, which funds small business loans and business training to those in developing countries.
