and then there were five.

we are so excited to announce that Mister Man, Amelia, William and i will be adding a new member to our family in october of this year!what can we say? we think the two kids we have are pretty cool, and we thought we should add another cool kid to the mix.much like my last two pregnancies, this one has kicked my butt energy-wise. this has been compounded by the fact that i now also have two energetic (understatement of the year anyone?) kiddos running around that i also need to keep alive. my fatigue has been on another plane of existence altogether, to the point that it runs out of space to go, and manifests in physical symptoms like nausea and dizziness. it's not so much morning sickness as it is pure exhaustion. fun! lots of fun!Amelia knows that we're having another baby, and is pretty excited. she definitely thinks it's a girl, and insists that both she and William want it to be a girl. we are consistently reminding her that there is a good chance it could be a boy too, but she's ignoring us pretty hard whenever that comes up. it appears we will continue to learn lessons on how to handle a growing family while raising young children.even with all the craziness and nausea and exhaustion, we know that God’s timing is best, and feel so blessed once again that we are being given the privilege of bringing a life into this world. we know that’s not always how life works, and we say a prayer of thanks every day for this opportunity.until the next time i have the energy to write, here’s to baby z., the 2018 edition!
