where the magic happens.
today you guys get a sneak peek into the master bedroom.just the room of course! quit it with the dirty mind crap you guys.this room didn't need a lot of work, truth be told. it was painted that gorgeous gray color already, we just needed to swap where a couple of shelves were, get some smaller nightstands that actually fit next to our bed, and paint the tiny corner round on the baseboard. all very tiny things, really, but they still somehow took us a whole weekend to accomplish. painting and drilling and sanding are funny that way.[gallery type="rectangular" ids="2396,2395"]
(why hello handsome handyman whom i am lucky enough to call my husband!)
(yes, our playlist of choice when working on home projects is the harry potter audiobooks, why do you ask?)
but wouldn't you know it? the tiny things made quite the impact on our little space.[gallery type="rectangular" ids="2404,2405"][gallery columns="2" type="rectangular" ids="2407,2408"]i love our bedroom. it's so relaxing and nothing about it makes me anxious. the colors are soothing and energizing at the same time, and the morning light is so soft...you never get woken up by the sun. which is perfect because we happen to like sleeping in on the weekends. well, him more than me. but if he's snuggled up in bed, it's awfully hard to tear myself away, you know?[gallery columns="2" type="rectangular" ids="2413,2414"]i don't think we'll be changing anything about this room while we're here. it's now the one room i'm happy with just the way it is.
