these days.
it's friday. and i am so happy.
Mister Man sent me a text this afternoon asking if i would like to go out on a sushi dinner date, and my answer was, YES BEST IDEA EVER. sidenote: i highly suggest asking your spouse out on dates even after you're married. even though we eat dinner together almost every night, i still get butterflies when i know we have a date night in our future.
i hope you all have the best weekends. (let's keep up with each other on the twitter and instagram?) now i'm off to get dolled up for my hot date.

these days i’m…eating my banana bread i made in my incredibly hot kitchen the other night. turns out i had enough left after giving loaves to the neighbors to eat some myself!being inspired by my crazy hydrangeas in the backyard. they are one of my favorite things about the new house, and i love how large and in charge these things are. they make me so happy when i see them in their vases around the place.planning on attending my friend kali's "replenish, relax & renew" workshop. kali is a wellness coach, and has her own wellness practice, which is fabulous. the workshop is basically a chance to gather yourself and focus on getting back to your best, most healthy self. there is a detox involved, but i'm still excited...does this mean i'm growing up?writing my post for amber's linkup tomorrow for the say yes project. (yea, it's not written yet. i never said i was good at time management, and i know i've had two weeks to do this. woops?) make sure you visit to see all the stuff some awesome people are saying "yes" to. wearing my new haircut! i got my hairs did for the first time in 4 months the other day, and holy cow did it make me feel like a new person! sidenote: i tweeted that photo below from my instagram, and TOMS shoes tweeted that they liked my haircut and the TOMS i was wearing. my day was made, let me tell you!drinking trader joe's carrot juice blend. it's so much better than the v8 stuff you guys. if you have a tj's anywhere near you, i highly suggest picking some up. pro tip: mix it with champagne for a twist on a traditional mimosa. you can thank me later.loving sweater weather. i am sick of being sweaty. i'm a minnesotan, and i'm pretty sure my body thrives in the colder weather. plus, i get to start wearing my BOOTS again! (yes, MM, i do need all of them...)not loving summer coming to an end. i know i just said i loved that fall was coming, what a brat, i can't have it both ways. i know this. but summer was very short this year. we're talking snow in late april. can't we have it start just a little bit earlier, and keep fall right on schedule? is that too much to ask?working on finally organizing our wedding photos...are you sensing a trend here with my procrastination? we don't have a wedding album or really many framed photos from our wedding, and they are some of the best photos we've ever taken. so yea. planning on getting that done as soon as it gets cold out.
